FAREPA was formed 2004 with the leadership of Pablo Wong who was then with First American Title Company. He called on several agents from different real estate offices and formed this group. Then, the group appointed the officers and board of directors, of which I was unanimously appointed as their President. We grew from a dozen to 95 members on our first year. We have been recognized by different ethnic real estate groups and most honorably, by SAMCAR. The goal of the organization was to unite all Filipino Real Estate Agents and affiliates and at the same time help increase homeownership within the Filipino-American community.

Being a part of FAREPA is an extremely challenging and fun way to make use of your time. Not only do you get to meet people and network, you get the opportunity to establish worthwhile friendship and share in the camaraderie that comes with constant person to person relationship. This also creates what I like to call support buddies, which then translate into more business for ourselves, which ultimately raises FAREPA to a higher pedestal.

I believe we have 150 members now but if we continue the commitment, passion, and vision, then our growth will be overwhelming. This is our dream. We want those who have not joined, to contact any of our officers or Board of Directors.
